Service Level 1 (Blue) 

  • Digital checkouts only
  • Virtual programs
  • Virtual reference
  • Library building closed

Service Level 2 (Purple) 

  • Digital checkouts only
  • Virtual programs 
  • Virtual and Over-the-phone reference 
  • No public access to library building

Service Level 3 (Red) 

  • Curbside pickup and digital checkouts
  • Virtual programs
  • Virtual and phone reference help
  • No public access to library building
  • No donations

Service Level 4 (Orange) 

  • Limited in-person browsing, curbside pickup, and digital checkouts
  • Virtual programs
  • Limited in-person reference, and virtual and phone
  • Limited access to library building
  • No donations

+ Limited use of public access computers and other workstations will be added forto Service Level 4 at the discretion of the board. 

Service Level 5 (Yellow) 

  • In-person browsing and checkouts, curbside pickup, and digital checkouts
  • Small in-person and virtual programs
  • In-person reference
  • Access to library building
  • Call to inquire about donations

Service Level 6 (Green) 

  • In-person browsing and checkouts, curbside pickup, and digital checkouts
  • In-person programs
  • In-person reference
  • Full access to library building
  • Donations accepted

We expect that to adequately respond to local, state, and national direction on COVID-19 response, it may be necessary to move back and forth between levels. All changes to the library's service level will be posted on our website, social media, and at the library building. 

The library is following a safety plan to protect staff, patrons, and community, which includes the following:

Cleaning protocols, including quarantine of books
Social distancing in the building and on library property, including wearing of masks
Staff screening 
Postings of health and hygiene information
