Oil Painting with Wilson Bickford

 Upcoming Oil Painting Classes with Wilson Bickford:

     All supplies will be provided for each workshop.  This includes EVERYTHING - a canvas, brushes, paints, use of easel, etc.  Wilson will be teaching the "Wet-on-Wet" Oil method.  At the end of the class, you wil take home a completed painting.  Classes are open to ALL skill levels including beginners.  No prior painting experience is required.  Space is limited to 25 per class.  Registration is required.

Board of Trustees Meetings

The Board of Trustees of the Lowville Free Library next meeting will be on

@ 7 pm at the library.

Lewis County Fair Authors Showcase at Library Booth

 This year at the Lewis County Fair under the Grandstands, the Lowville Free Library will host several local authors.  Dave Andelora, Irene Uttendorfsky, Regina Drumm, BarbaraWitek, Pieter Gaskin and Aline Newman will be there sharing their current novels. The Author Showcase at the libraries fair booth will be open July 15th - July 19th.

 Tuesday 5-9 pm will feature Dave Andalora, author of several popular Shakespeare adaptations.  If Shakespeare never made sense to you before, read Andaloras adaptations and it will.  Great reads for kids who will soon have to study Shakespeare.
Wednesday will feature Children’s Author Irene Uttendorfsky 10 - 4 and Children's Author Aline Newman  1-5.  
Thursday 1-7 pm will feature Lisa Buske
Friday Children’s Author  Pieter Gaskin 10 - 2
Saturday   Romance Author Regina Drumm and Romantic Suspence Author Barbara Witek 10 a.m. -3 p.m.
Regina’s Wayward Wives Club series are real page turners that are hard to put down. Regina is the Author of “You Still Love Me”, “Fancy Pants” and latest “ Horsin Around”.
Barbara is the author of  "Santa Wore Combat Boots" and "Daddy wore Dog Tags" 
Come out and support our local writers.
